20 cogs, an easy way to make some extra cash I say

It would be an understatement to say that most of us are so well off that we do not care about making some extra cash here and there.

Many of us are constantly on the lookout for a way to make some extra cash from the comfort of our home, thanks to the Internet. Before I continue though, I have to make a disclaimer that please do not assume that I have tried everything there is, this is purely my personal experience of the few that I have tried. 20 cogs- here I come.

How does it work?

20 cogs is an online marketing referral company. They get a commission for every new customer they bring in and give you back a portion of it. Works pretty well, doesn't it? Once you sign up you need to gradually work your way through '20 cogs' or 20 different subscriptions and trial accounts. Once you successfully complete the sign up, the colour of the cog will change from grey to orange and finally to green. Please make sure you read the terms and conditions for each of the cogs. For most of them you just have to open an online account and there are loads of casinos and gambling companies, for those you also need to deposit some money or p

lay through your funds. Just make sure you read and follow through your instructions. For example, for one casino you have to deposit £10, but they give you £20 once the cog is confirmed thus earning £10 net.

Advice

  • Read the rules for the cogs carefully

  • Keep track of all of your cogs and make sure you cancel any unwanted subscriptions or trials before they start charging you

  • Be prepared to wait for at least a month for the cogs to change to green and therefore for your payout as well.

  • Keep confirmation and cancelation emails as well as screenshots in case the cogs don't track properly.

Is it worth it?

Without further ado, the answer is yes. I spent about three evenings completing the cogs and painfully recording every single one and I am glad I did. After a while they all mashed together and I hardly recalled what I signed up for. Another positive was the freebies, mostly free TV or contact lenses. To be honest it took about two months for all the cogs to turn green and once they did I could cash out. My grand total at the end was £235.95. At the time of writing the money is comfortably sitting in my bank account, safe and sound. Not bad for three evenings worth of work. The downside is that once you complete it you cannot really continue as when you sign for online surveys, but for those I never found the payout to be attractive enough and I've tried my fair share of them.
